As of today, I am 5 years and 1 day sober. On Thanksgiving in 2020, I drank my last glass of wine while eating dinner and made a promise to myself to live the life I had imagined for myself. I am so blessed to say that where I am currently is even better than my wildest dreams. In a few weeks I will be the first in my family to have a Masters Degree (in art education, two career paths I was strongly advised against), I am a Director at @albanybarn (the only safe place I had for a longg time), in 6 months I will have the greatest honor of my life, in being Andi's wife, and the cherry on top, I installed my first solo mural in the city where I was born, for my community to enjoy and take cute pictures in-front of. 🖤

It takes a community. I wouldn’t be here without help, love & support from my friends & community. So thank you.

Huge shoutout to @parkalbany & @albanybarn for allowing me to create this mural. Not only was it made on recycled signs, but they also let me do basically whatever weird ideas I came up with, and I got to paint it at Albany Barn. What a full circle moment. Special thanks to Calvin, Matt & both Kevins for braving the cold for 5 hours during the installation. We were frozen, but we had fun.

Also, thank you to the incredible @third.eyeball for capturing these photos 🖤

So much more to come 🪩
