Watch Episode Three

In Raina's work, interpersonal relationships are explored through juxtaposing and layering figures. The narrative is obscured by abstracting defining features, such as faces. Forms and figures are created using color exaggerated from observation, and studies from other works. The expressive mark creates a gestural quality, referencing the forms, and allows the figure and space to merge in some areas.
